Looking to expand your skills in policy development? The First Nations Public Service Secretariat will be running our popular virtual Policy Development Management Training Academy (MTA) again this fall! These 3 half-day virtual workshops, led by previous Policy MTA facilitators Maddy Coxford – Director of Operations at Esquimalt Nation and Lisa Pastro, Indigenous Advisor at the Regional District of the Central Okanagan, will explore the topics of what successful and effective policy looks like, the cycle of policy development, risk management, policy education and more. The goal is for participants to build an understanding of the purpose and objectives of policy to build capacity within their organization.

Cost: $200 for all three days
These sessions will also be followed by a virtual Coaching Circle on October 13th. This session is intended to be a space to discuss policy development amongst other professionals in an informal setting and is open to those of all experience levels working in policy development.
