Province-wide Community-to-Community Forum

UBCM and First Nations Leadership Council are co-hosting a Province-wide Community to Community Forum, September 16, 2024 at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, 900 Canada Place Way, Vancouver.

This forum aims to advance reconciliation and, foster dialogue, collaboration and understanding between local government and First Nation leaders across British Columbia. It provides a vital platform for meaningful discussions on shared priorities, challenges, and opportunities that affect our communities.

A limited number of travel subsidies are offered for First Nation leaders. The maximum available subsidy is up to $1100 per First Nation and is limited to two attendees. You can find more information on this and instructions for booking accommodation by navigating to the same event page. Please note, to take advantage of available room blocks, please register and reserve by August 15th.
