FFNA Session – Pre-Election Training

Join us for a session facilitated by Laura, designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for successful engagement and leadership during elections. This workshop will focus on: 

Effective Engagement & Leadership: Gain insights and tools to promote and implement accountable and effective governance and lead with confidence in your community.  

Voter Education: Learn strategies to engage community members and conduct effective voter education initiatives. 

Empowerment Through Knowledge: Equip yourself and your community with the essential information to make informed decisions during elections.

Laara E. Yaghujaanas, M.A., owns and operates Carden Consulting, which she established in 1997. Laara is from the yaghu ‘jaanas clan of the Haida Nation and carries her great grandmothers name “Kun G aadaas”. Laara holds a master’s degree from Royal Roads University, was awarded the Royal Roads University Founders Award, has completed the Justice Institute Conflict Resolution and Negotiation course, is a CTT Certified Consultant (Level 2), a member of the Council of Native Development Officers (CANDO), a member of the New Relationship Trust Economic Development Support Team, and is an Advisor for the Indigenous Business Awards.
