Be Prepared – CleanBC Communities Fund & GHG Assessment Methodology
On August 12, 2020, it was announced that the second intake for the CleanBC Communities Fund (CCF) is open for applications with $47 million dollars in funding available. Collier’s last webinar answered your questions pertaining to a variety of funding programs and eligibility. Their next step in further strengthening your applications and leading your community to success, is to do a deep dive into the CCF Program and GHG assessment methodology.
Funding is available for projects that manage renewable energy, improve access to clean-energy transportation, improve energy efficiency of buildings or help generate clean energy to reduce community reliance on fossil fuels. Join Collier for an information session on September 17th to:
• Learn about program eligibility and requirements;
• Gain a deeper understanding of the greenhouse gas (GHG) assessment process and criteria; and
• Hear tips to strengthen applications.
The panelists are program staff and experts on the fund: Claire Yick and Ken Porter from the B.C. Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy. They are eager to spread the word about the CCF Program and to share program objectives, application requirements, and best practices. The team and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy is also looking forward to connecting with communities one-on-one after the information session to answer questions and support applications. Contact information will be provided and the information session will be recorded.
Be Prepared Together– Building Applications for Infrastructure Funding
Submit a successful funding application for your First Nation
The Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) offers First Nations opportunities to plan, lead and deliver vital projects that will benefit their communities and economies. Applying for funding, however, can be challenging.
Colliers Project Leaders has proven experience working with communities to successfully access a variety of funding for capital projects. Being prepared is a critical part of that success. Deadlines for funding applications are fast approaching, so we are offering complimentary, half-day sessions to share our learnings and, most of all, review your application(s) to identify gaps, important evidence and, together, create a winning application. Together, our team of professionals will work through the submission process, answer your questions and ensure that your community has the tools needed to succeed.
