B.C. Cabinet & First Nations Leaders’ Gathering Welcome

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 2022 B.C. Cabinet and First Nations Leaders’ Gathering, taking place Tuesday, November 29 and Wednesday, November 30 on the territories of the Xʷməθkʷəyə̓m (Musqueam), Sḵwxw̱ ú7mesh (Squamish) and səli̓lwətaʔɬ/selí̓lwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations at the Vancouver Convention Centre West.

The Gathering is organized in partnership between the First Nations Leadership Council and the Government of British Columbia. It is one of the largest gatherings of provincial and First Nations leaders in the country. While the Gathering returns to an in-person format this year, some hybrid (virtual) opportunities will be available during plenary and break-out sessions.

One-on-one meetings between First Nations leaders and provincial government representatives will also be offered on-site. Please register and request your individual meetings as soon as possible.

The B.C. Government and the First Nations Leadership Council are committed to health and safety as we prepare for our first in-person Gathering in more than two years. All delegates are asked to follow public health guidelines.

We are excited to safely gather again and hope you will join us!
