FNPSS First Nations Engagement Sessions

The First Nations Public Service Secretariat (FNPSS) is undertaking engagement with BC First Nations in May, June and August of this year. We are inviting First Nations to participate in online dialogue sessions about the ways that FNPSS can support First Nations to strengthen their administration and governance capacity. Some of the sessions are primarily for Chief Administrative Officers (and/or Band Manager, CEO, Executive Director, etc), and others are providing an opportunity to hear from Chief and Council. However, all sessions are inclusive, so please choose a session that is convenient for you.

The goals for this dialogue are to

  • Hear from First Nations on their most pressing governance and administration capacity needs.
  • Gather input and guidance on the work of FNPSS and to reconfirm priorities.
  • Determine whether FNPSS is meeting the needs of First Nations.

Please register for one of the following consultation sessions

May & June Dialogue Sessions

The May and June sessions are primarily for Chief Administrative Officers (or equivalent) and are scheduled by region to support access and facilitate registration. However, all sessions are inclusive, and we encourage all First Nation representatives to attend the session(s) that works for them. If you are unable to participate in the session(s) for your region, you are welcome to participate in a session that is convenient for you.

To register for a session, simply click on one of the available dates for your region.
