Foundations of Leadership for Administrators and Chief & Council – Part 2: Leading Others – Day 2

Are you a new, seasoned, or aspiring administrator or elected leader in a BC First Nation hoping to take your leadership skills to the next level? If so, this training is designed for you!

The second part in this three-part leadership training series features six 2.5 hour interactive online sessions, developed by a First Nations advisory group and Laara Yaghujaanas, an Indigenous governance specialist. The sessions in the second part (“Leading Others”) build on what was learned in Part 1 (“Leading Self”) and focus on the following topics:

  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Community Engagement
  • Financial Management
  • Project Management
  • Organizational Development and Certification
  • First Nations Self-Government
