Foundations of Leadership – Part 2: Leading Others

Are you a new, seasoned, or aspiring administrator or elected leader in a BC First Nation hoping to take your leadership skills to the next level? If so, this training is designed for you!

The second part in this three-part leadership training series features six 2.5-hour interactive online sessions, developed by Laara Yaghujaanas, an Indigenous governance specialist. Part 2, Leading Others, will build on what was learned in Part 1, Leading Self, and focus on the following topics:

– Emotional Intelligence
– Community Engagement
– Financial Management
– Project Management
– Organizational Development and Certification
– First Nations Self-Government

Registration is at no cost to those who will commit to participating in all six sessions and agree to provide details feedback on the individual sessions and overall content and approach. For those who have not completed Parts 1, you will also be given access to the training materials so that you can start Part 2 feeling ready to participate. If you have any questions, please contact mentorship@fnps.ca

Note: Registration is for the six sessions. Only those who registered before Day 1 are able to attend.
