Title: More than Food Security, Promoting Economic Opportunity through Indoor Growing

Description: Earlier options for indoor farms allowed communities to grow leafy greens, but this didn’t always solve issues of food security. NuLeaf is developing systems for communities that offer a broader range of crop selection for food, but also economic opportunities such as growing for remediation projects, traditional and ceremonial plants, extracts like hydrosols and plant oils, animal feed, and many others. NuLeaf’s systems allow for retrofits and optimization of existing spaces like greenhouses or warehouses. Whether education and training, food or economic opportunities, our approach is to understand the unique needs of the community and deliver turnkey solutions that answer those needs.

Speakers: Ryan Wright & Carlos Santos
