Are you considering running for a position of elected leadership in your community? Or, have you recently been elected as Chief or Councillor? If you are interested in learning more about leadership roles in a First Nations government, we invite you to join FNPSS for our two-part training series for leaders.
Part 1: Pre-Election Training for Leaders, is designed to support you in learning about the roles and responsibilities of elected leaders and develop a better understanding of your own personal leadership approach before you decide to run.
Part 2: Post-Election Training for Leaders, will support you to lead now that you are elected, leading with others, leading nation rebuilding, and leading governing institutions.
You can register for one or both parts in this series, but we recommend interested participants enroll in both the Pre-Election and Post-Election training for leaders as Part 2 builds on the content from Part 1.
Registration is at no cost to those who will commit to participating in all sessions and agree to provide details feedback on the individual sessions and overall content and approach.
