The First Nations Public Service Secretariat (FNPSS) invites all current and aspiring First Nations administrators and senior managers to join a 90-minute Fireside Chat with Ernest Armann, Indigenous Skills and Employment Training (ISET) Program Manager with Lillooet Tribal Council. Ernest is a member of N’quatqua of the Stl’atl’imx Nation. He has worked as a Band Manager, Lower Stl’atl’imx Tribal Council (LSTC) Governance Advisor, Governance Services organization developer, Chief Operating Officer (COO), consultant, and ISET Program Manager. In these roles, Ernest has always been driven by aspirations of self-governance and delivery of essential services responsibilities. He has received formal training in administration through the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and has a Diploma in Public Administration/Administering Aboriginal Governance from the University of Victoria (UVic). Ernest has served on a range of boards and committees, including a term of more than thirteen years supporting health governance transition at the First Nation Health Council.
