The COVID-19 pandemic has made effective community engagement for First Nations more difficult – but it’s also more important than ever to connect with your members. In the second of FNPSS and the Technology Council’s May 2021 Communications webinars, Facilitator, Trainer, and Leadership Coach, Zandra Ross (Williams Lake First Nation), will dive deep into best practices to engage First Nations audiences – both online and offline.
Participants will be introduced to new virtual and in-person tools to make their communications more engaging for their entire community, including special groups like youth, elders, and Band Administrators. We will also discuss how to create a highly developed community engagement strategy (which includes measuring its effectiveness). Time for Q&A will be available.
This webinar is the second of two Communications webinars in May of 2021 presented by FNTC and FNPSS which will provide tailored communications engagement techniques and tools, both online and offline, for First Nations in BC.
