Webinar Wednesdays: “The Power of Our Data” – Recording and presentations now available!

The full webinar recording and presentations from FNPSS’ latest Webinar Wednesdays event, entitled “The Power of Our Data”, is now available!

Date: Wednesday, April 14, 2021
Time: 10:30am – 12:00pm PST
Virtual Event

Description:
Numbers and statistics are used all the time to tell us things about our communities and how we compare. How can we take charge of all of this information to tell the stories we want to tell about our people? Join us for a webinar on the power of data and the ways in which the stories we tell can open doors to new ways of seeing.

Join Byron Flekke (St’at’imc) from Statistics Canada as he shares stories on the power of data and how it can be accessed by all First Nations across Canada, Len Garis (National Indigenous Fire Safety Council), and Robert Harding (University of the Fraser Valley) as they share their experiences with accessing data to tell stories in their own workplaces.

To view the recording, simply click below to access the YouTube link. Presentations by guest speakers Len Garis, Byron Flekke, and Robert Harding are available to download below.
